Deep drilling multiple faces in one operation not generating correct G-code

Hi all,

If I try and do a deep drill with Hole Mode set to selected faces, then I select two identical faces, Fusion 360 will simulate this operation perfectly but when I run post process the G-Code generated will only deep drill the first hole. Then it will move on to the next operation.

Thank you in advance for any support.

Hi @jolonWMLB6 ,

Could you send or copy your nc code so we can see it?

Also, what post processor are you using?

Thanks,

Will

No problems Will,

I am using the built in siemens-808d post processor.

The forums prevent me from attaching the mpf file generated, but I've copied the contents into a txt file and attached that.

Kind regards,

Jolon

Sorry, above I said the 808d standard post. It is actually the 802d standard post, but the question remains.

Hi @jolonWMLB6 ,

I think your machine wants to see both positions after the cycle call out. Currently, the first position if before the callout.

The Siemens 840D post should output the code the way you want. You can try to use that post altogether (it might work fine for you, but use with caution). Assuming this solves your problem, you could also copy the needed code from the 840D post into the 802D post processor.

Let me know if this solves your problem.

Thanks,

Will
