Can Acer aspire 3 Run fusion 360?

I’m a woodworker and use sketchup, but fusion is such a better program, now just to learn it!

I’m hard on laptops in the shop, so I got a sub $500 one that I thought had the requirements for fusion, but it seems a bit laggy when starting the program and a banner appears across the top about the graphics card not being able to handle fusion.

Fortunately, the computer came with a broken key, so I’m returning it, but can I get something similar or do I need to step up to a gaming laptop?   I’m not designing anything too component heavy or complex, just furniture.
The Acer I have is Acer Aspire 3 10th gen Intel core I5-1035g1 8gb ddr4 256 gb NVMe ssd Windows 10.
Will this computer run fusion ok if I do a direct replacement?  Or shall I bite the bullet and step it up a bit?
Thanks for the help!

Hi,

should run just fine.

I had an old desktop at home where I ran fusion had an old 4th gen I5 with 4GB ram and an old Quardo graphics card with 2gb ram... ran just fine, little slow but I believe that was due to lack of RAM, tbh everything was slow :). Fusion is not a resource hog like some other CAD software.

Hi,

Actually it should work. I would first try it with the existing system and adjusted settings.
