Hi everyone !

Im facing a problem when trying to render a project with a simple decal in it.

Ive already successfully render another decal on another project with the same kind of properties but for a strange reason this one give me strange artefacts.

Ive linked some rendered pictures of it

Thank's for your time, hope somebody has already face that kind of issue ! 🙂

I don't recognize this issue. Can you please provide a shared link so I can download and work with your design?

This is happening because the decal is applied to a face that is coincident to a face on another body. They sit in the same place exactly.

how to fix.gif

Open the Screen Box component in your design.

  1. Look in the Screen component browser items.
  2. Find the bodies folder.
  3. Body2 is embedded inside the geometry for Body1.
    1. Problem: the decal is applied to a face in Body2 that is partially obscured by a face in Body1.
    2. Remedy: Move Body2 up 0.5mm
      1. Or hide Body2 and redo the decal on Body 1 (also turn off chain faces in Decal).
