Construction lines

I have designed a simple wooden coaster to be made on a CNC machine i. This means the workpiece needs to be flipped after the first 7 grooves are milled. My plan is to use a 2D pocket operation.

The issue/problem is that the outer grooves cannot be milled using the 2D pocket operation or others.

My assumption is that this might be because the design lines in the sketch are not properly connected? (marked with a red circle)

The file is also attached. Can anyone help?
