Hello.
I am new to Fusion 360. I have used various resources to learn the software and I'm now trying my own designs.
My question concerns whether it is possible to have dimensions that are constrained between components in a design. By way of example; consider a solid disc of diameter D and thickness T that is to be insterted into a washer of thickness t, inner diameter din and outer diameter dout = din+2w where w is the width of the washer.
In order for the washer to accomodate the disc (i.e. to acheive a bigger split disc) din = D and t = T.
I have created the disc and the washer as two components within the same design (by revolving a rectangle around a central axis. However if I alter D in the disc, I then have to edit din accordingly. Is it possible to have a dimension in one component constrained to a dimension in another? This way only one component needs to be edited, (as the interface dimensions are constrained to alter automatically.)
Many thanks
