It sure would be nice to be able to import/export a configuration table from a spreadsheet/csv/json/flatfile/database...   Is this feature available somewhere and I've not been able to find it? If so, please point me toward it. Or is this obviously necessary feature really not there?

@nadovich

Configurations does not support this currently.  We are aware of this and agree it is a useful enhancement.  But we have other higher priority issues that will keep us busy for the forseeable future.

Dear Gautham, nearly a year has passed. Maybe this feature is now higher in priority?

There are other changes coming in the Fusion product that will allow you to get this output.  Will get back to you with more details in a few days.

@m_milczarekM6XH5 and others,

A new Fusion update went out yesterday that has Autodesk Assistant (AA).  AA as it is also called is a powerful AI tool available in Fusion that enables operations such as this ask to be accomplished through some text prompts.  For eg., I gave a prompt in AA with the active document being the one I am interested in and asked it to "can you export the configuration table into a csv file", and it did it for me by writing a csv file to disk.  You can try that out.  These are some of the ways that AA is going to help users get stuff done without having to wait for our team to implement the feature.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for the heads-up. I am testing it right now. It was indeed able to automatically create new configurations from csv data. Unfortunately it still cannot do some operations but hopefully it's capabilities will be expanded in the future.
