Cloud Render Button Problem

Hello everybody. There is a problem in Fusion 360 render mode.

Sometimes, when I click cloud render button, the button does not respond. Additionally, if I change mode to model or sth else and turn back to render mode, nothing is changed. If I restart Fusion, it responds. The problem is not only in my computer, but also I confront the problem in some other computers. Do you know why the problem occurs?

Note : All computers were connected to internet.

Hi everybody,

I'm experiencing the same problems and wanted to add that sometimes even restarting Fusion won't help. It seems there is a problem with the rendering queue? Is that a known bug that will be fixed or does anybody know a workaround for that?

Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry for the delay in getting to you. Can both you and @Anonymous post a screencast of what happens? I am really curious to see what might be going on. It sounds like the click isn't even registering, is that correct? Does toggling the render options (i.e. Mobile, Video, etc) clear this up? I found a UI glitch the other day that was resolved by doing that.

Thanks,

Hi James,

you can find my screencast here: https://autode.sk/2J1hdVA

As you can see, nothing happens after klicking the Render button. No matter how Long I wait.

Thx for your help!

Hi @Anonymous,

Ahhh, I see. Thanks for sharing that. So the click does register, it just never successfully gets sent. Can you please go to the Help menu in the top-right corner of Fusion and collect your diagnostic log files and post them here. I'd be curious if there any network issues going on behind the scenes.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for sharing those. I only found one error in all the logs, so I am not sure if this is related. But I did see:

20180329T111431 E CloudBrowser failed request - exception: WinHttpReceiveResponse: 12152: Der Server lieferte eine ungültige oder unbekannte Rückmeldung.

...Uri: https://js.prd.fusionapi.autodesk.com/hds/fusion360.json ThreadID: 12772, Function: void __cdecl Ns::Network::RequestMgr::RunRequest::<lambda_cfafa67c0fe133e19c87ff20b7f1152e>::operator ()(class Concurrency::task<class web::http::http_response>) const, Line: 372

It does seem that in that instance the cloud operation failed due to the connection. Are you still seeing this issue frequently? If so, is it sporadic in nature? Is there any chance of trying on a different network when it does fail to see if we can pinpoint what might be causing this?

Thanks,

Hello Everyone,

I am experiencing a the same issue, however after I restart Fusion 360 I can click the button once and it will bring up the render menu. Once I close the rendering menu the button stops working and I must restart fusion 360 in order for the rendering menu to open.

Having this same issue, the render button stops doing anything sometimes, and I must restart fusion. Very annoying as I have many small renders to process currently.
