Cherry appearance on one body sometimes paler in color in design and local render

Hi,  I've looked at the Properties of the "Trigger arm asmbly" as compared to the other cherry components and can't see a difference.  Sometimes it is correct and other times not.  Is there some other component|body effect (e.g., lighting) that is not part of Properities?

 

There is at times a flickering when changing the view, as if a hidden body is lurking behind it.  There is not one that I know of.

The change seems to be dependent on the position.    Lighting?  It does happen to others or Cherry appearance, but not routinely.  It will also render with the "wrong" appearance.

Thanks for the reply.  I changed to a "3D" appearance and that seemed to do the trick.
