Changing text in a sketch messes up all constraints.

Hi

I've made a quick video as well. Basically I've added a row of text blocks. I've already created a column of text blocks successfully by creating one block, then copy and paste it, align and edit text. I restarted Fusion after copying the row and aligning everything to get black sketch. Before I closed, my sketch was fully constrained.

Now I need to simply change the text, and when I do that, my whole sketch becomes unconstrained. When I touch anything on any text, my sketch turns blue. I cannot remove constraints, font, or anythng to do with the text without seeing a blue sketch.

Needless to say, I have no idea what to do as the constraints still show correctly, and trying to recreate the constraints, I get an "overconstrained" warning. Nothing moves as well, so not sure why it all goes blue.

Also how did I get myself into this mess and how to avoid in the future?

Hi sure. Here it is. I hope that is the correct version before I used the "fixed" constrained on the outer square.

BTW - if it is insecure to share a link like this, please don't delete my files! Just warn me I'm nuts!

I saw a similar result recently where a sketch showed unconstrained but it really was. I ignored it because it is probably a bug and it takes years for bugs to get fixed so I figured I would just live with it.

True, sometimes it does take years, but there are also instances where bugs get fixed very quickly. As such I can only encourage anyone to report such bugs. I believe the EE's were asked to report any constrained/unconstrained instances we come across.  This would be one.

Got it, it's logged.

Is there a list where we can track the logged bugs?
