Chamfer generates no toolpath

Using a chamfer mill and the 2D chamfer toolpath, an inner chamfer doesn't generate a toolpath.

I first created an outer chamfer, which generates a path. I then duplicated this, and selected an inner contour instead, and that toolpath doesn't generate.

The project is attached. There's also a video here.

In brief, an outside chamfer generates just fine, but an inside chamfer generates no toolpath.

Interestingly (?) I had a problem with Chamfer toolpaths two years ago, where not having a defined a "body" in the setup resulted in truncated chamfer toolpaths. This time, I have defined a "body" but it still doesn't work.

The answer is that I should have remembered that the "chamfer width" actually counts as movement DOWN. Thus, a chamfer width of 0.25mm, plus a tip offset of 1.8mm, makes for a total depth of cut of 2.05mm, which is more than the 2mm of clearance there is.

It would be helpful if the warning said something like "chamfer toolpath of depth 2.05mm would have cut into the bottom of the part and has been eliminated" which would have saved me the time to figure out what was really the problem.
