cannot log into Fusion after update - error inside web browser redirect back to Fusion

macOS 13.3.1

Updated Fusion today

 

What my opinion about the stability of this new web log-in is I keep for myself.

 

I did deinstall and reinstall Fusion360 too - no difference ...

@cekuhnen @If you go into launchpad in your max and look for Fusion service utility, in there you will have option to gather log file. Can you please attach the diagnostic zip file that it generated here, please ?

please go to the below article and service log files -ID service shows where to find the particular log we would like. Please post that here.

@cekuhnen @While we wait for logs here are a couple of other things if you can try that will help find what is happening. 

1. Can you change the default browser to some other one than what you are using now ? If that works then we know it is likely some setting I. The current default browser. 

2. If you go to Finder - Go to folder - type /private/tmp is there an Autodesk identity manager folder in there? If there is one can you right click on the tmp folder and see if there is enough read and write access?

EDIT: I was able to finally log in -
I moved the default browser to Safari -
the engine asked for an account manager and all froze again
I force quit Fusion and then it launched again without asking me to sign in again


looks to me this new method is pretty fragile when this can happen

@cekuhnen @Was the previous default chrome? It would still be good to know your previous default browser and the log files. We should still be able to get you back on your preferred default browser.

In that folder is no Autodesk identity manager folder

switching back to Safari makes all work now without any hangs

I have the same problem on Windows 10 + Chromium.
Changing default browser to Edge give mi chance to log in but i don't want Edge as default browser 😞
