Hello everyone, I am new to fusion and i can not get my first project to post. I keep getting a error. my tool path runs but obviously i have done something wrong. This is quite frustrating and i would prefer someone to talk this over with but fusion does not have support like that. any help would be appreciated.

Hi @jrogers80 ,

thanks for posting! Can you please post a screenshot of the error you are receiving? It would also be great for me to take a look at your file. What machine post are you using?

Thanks,

Here is a screen shot of the error msg. And also the file that i am trying to engrave on. The holes and contour are for reference only. I just want to engrave the V8 symbol. The machine is a Haas vf2 with a updated control.

Hi @jrogers80 ,

Thanks for the screenshot! It looks like you are getting an error mentioned in this article here

To export your file follow these directions (file>export and save to your computer as .f3d) or you can share a public link of your design

Thank you for the export help. here is the file. As i said before, the holes and the outside radi are for reference only. I only want to engrave the "V8" on my part, I have the part finished except for the engraving. It runs in the simulate mode.

Thank you for all of your help I finally got my file to post. There was no wcs in the setup and i fixed the tool orientation which fixed my problem. Thank you again and as I am new to fusion I am sure that I will have more problems and questions.
