Hello,

I am trying to open a file that my client shares with me but Fusion can't open it telling me it was created with a newer version. However update check tells me I'm already up to date. It doesn't make sense, please tell me if there is a way to fix this.

Your Client has saved the file in the Insider version of Fusion

You can get them to Save a Version  in Production and send it to you.

Alternatively you can Join the Insider Program, there is an application process

Do you mean there is a way to save a file in a previous version in Fusion Insider?

No there isn't

but if they open Production and then open a previously saved version(that was created in Production) they can then export and send to you.

If the file was only created in Insider then the only way for you to access it is to Join the insider program
