Took a look at that but I don't have the Fusion Service Utility installed and I can't find where/how to install that utility. I don't have any autodesk product installed.

@carlHDY6H @Go to the add/remove programs and select Fusion and modify. This should launch the Fusion service utility.

I'm on a Mac. All I have in the `Fusion Client Downloader.dmg` ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  This is the first time trying to install any autodesk product so I don't have any of it installed.

@carlHDY6H @Took another look at the log files and it’s almost positive it is some sort of network error we are hitting here.

couple of things to try before using the article below.

1. restart your network to see if that helps.
2. on your Mach quickly create a new account and see if you can install successfully there.

I mentioned in my first post that I've tried on multiple networks with the same error. Just tried on a fresh user account on my Mac and get the same problem. localhost is properly set up in my /etc/hosts file.

This is the error reported in the logs that relates to this article - https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Fusion-360-Failed-...

Have you tried this: (Skip 1 &2)

  1. Logout and Close Fusion
    2. Go to Launchpad - Uninstall Fusion
    3. Go to
  • Macintosh HD>Users>(username)>Library>Application Support>Autodesk>Autodesk Fusion 360>
  1. DELETE the following folders – Webdeploy, Web Services, Identity services, Autodesk Fusion 360 ((IF you do not have any other Autodesk products installed, delete the Full Autodesk folder)
  2. Delete the Fusion launch icon (from desktop or where you have it)
  3. Restart the Mac
  4. Download the installer again
  5. Now install Fusion

1.So those folders were present, you deleted them and redownloaded the installer and hone trying to install again you get the same error, right?
2. When you mentioned you tried various other networks, what are the other network options you tried?
3. Is there a change to connect the Mac to a LAN rather than wireless?

Only the webdeploy subfolder was present, so I deleted the ~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk folder

2. I tried tethering to my phone and got the same problem.

3. I don't have a LAN connection on my Mac

@carlHDY6H Interesting. We are missing something here coz for this error one of the above solutions have worked. Long shot, but do you have any other machine that you could install Fusion on using the same network?

@carlHDY6H I will consult with your engineering team but another long shot - are there any pending macOS updates?

@carlHDY6H Can you check the trust access for Autodesk entries on your machine based on this article?

@carlHDY6H

Go to Keychain access app - certificates - systems - is this where you do not see any Autodesk entries ?

I am also having this issue and have followed the steps above, without success. I'm fairly frustrated right now and would appreciate some help on this as well.
