Can not renew personal license.

I got my personal license last year, but haven't used the program for a while and now the license has expired.

I have tried this guide 3 times: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...

, but I still have an orange box saying: "Expired: Subscribe now" and my files are read only.

About dialog says: "Active Plan: Fusion 360, Personal"

What to do?

Thanks

You leave out a lot of information.  What is your operating system?  After installation did you restart your computer?  Did you do a clean uninstall of the old version of Fusion 360 BEFORE trying to install the new version?

Sorry for missing information, I thought all about subscriptions was on a centralized location and not on my client.

I'm running Windows 10 21H1. I just tried a clean uninstall as per the link you posted, reboot and then fresh install; still the same orange box with "Expired: Subscribe now" 😕

I renewed my personal license back a couple of months ago and it took a couple of hours to reset, maybe this is your case.  If not, take a look at this article, especially toward the bottom where it talks about checking folders for log in credentials and how to eliminate them.

Just tried uninstall again and deleted the complete "Autodesk" folders in both %appdata%Local and %appdata%/Roaming, reboot and reinstall - still the same! :@

The first time I tried to renew my license was two days ago.

It would be nice to know if the subscription looks right in the system.

It must be something local. I've tried to acquire a new license with a different email-address, and it still doesn't work; it says I've 30 days left of my trial. Please don't tell me I need to reinstall windows 😫

If I were you, I would log into my Windows computer as the Administrator and try the install.  Even if you think you have administrator rights, there may be something you are missing.  I install all application using my administrator account and then shift back to my everyday user account.

My account is the only account on my pc. I have just ran the installer with elevated rights (though it shouldn't do a difference) and it's still the same. Deleting the registry keys after uninstalling didn't help either.

There is always an Administrator account, you may have to activate it, but it is there.  Take a look at one of many articles on the process.

Thanks a lot for your time John.

I got the Administrator account activated, uninstalled Fusion360 on my normal account, deleted all folders and reg keys, logged off, logged with Administrator and ran the installer. Then I logged out and logged ind with my own account - no Fusion360 installed. Back to the admin account and run Fusion360; SAME FREAKIN' PROBLEM 😞

I'm tired...

I finally figured it out.

Once again I tried to claim a license on the website (in another browser on another windows-installation. That did the trick - somehow the registration didn't go through when I did it on my primary pc 😕

Thanks again for all the tips.

Confirming that this approach just worked for me. I hadn't used Fusion in a while, and when I ran it on my desktop, it said my personal license was expired. Renewing from the same desktop machine, per Autodesk instructions, had no effect, including after waiting 30 minutes as instructed. Made multiple attempts, problem remained. Then found this thread, and renewed from my laptop. I waited 30 minutes, and Fusion now runs fine on my desktop again. (I used the same Firefox browser on both machines, and I didn't reinstall Fusion, reboot either machine, clean the registry, or anything like that.) Thank you, mortenAHUT3!

I just did the same yesterday as last time - on another machine. I don't know if it would've worked on my Fusion 360-machine, as I didn't try.

But I noticed that you're doing it before your periode ends - it doesn't work before it has ended.

Thanks but

I did it after the personal subscription ended,

And it didn't renew that's why i assume it is in a trial version now..

Also did it in the personal version when the link showed up on the top right of the screen time to renew.

and have attempted it several times in trial version but no go..

when i login to the renewal page it seems to know me, and i don't have any problem going though the renew process

it just doesn't update the renewal.
