Bug when using patterns and parameters.

There is a bug in Fusion 360 when you use patterns and parameters with a value of 3. Since 3 is the default value for Quantity for rectangular and circular patterns it does not update when you use a parameter for quantity and change it afterwards. This bug appears when using the rectangular and circular patterns in sketching, solid-, surface- and sheet metal modeling.

I've added a screencast with the issue, but apparently it didn't record any audio.

yes, this is a known bug.  The short version is exactly what you describe:  If the value is the same as the default, Pattern does not pick up the parameter reference.  It's on our list to fix.  In the meantime, set your parameter to 4 when you create the pattern, then it should pick up the parameter reference, then set the value back to 3.
