Bug: Timeline setting "Component Color Swatch" does not allow the user to cycle the component color.

The timeline setting "Component Color Swatch" does not allow the user to cycle the component color from the browser. 

To be able to cycle the component colors you will need to enable the inspect tool "Display Component Colors"

Thanks for reporting this.

Iam able to reproduce the issue. When Display Component Colors is disabled, using the component color option from the Browser changes the color swatch shown in the Browser and Timeline, but the corresponding component color is not updated on the canvas.

Enabling Inspect > Display Component Colors causes the component colors to display correctly.

I agree that this behavior is confusing, since the Browser and Timeline indicate that the component color has changed while the model itself does not reflect that change.

I have logged this as a defect (FUS-274909) with our development team for further investigation. I’ll update this thread when I have more information.
