BUG_Shaded view_Some Components Translucent

Working on a file that has a few repeated components that have either been copy/pasted or "duplicated with joint". Following an update in July I noticed that these duplicated components (both the originals and the copies) were all translucent in a shaded view mode, while any unique components remained solid. Switching modes, closing everything down/etc all the usual ways to fix weird bugs didn't do anything. I had hoped it would be fixed in an update but the issue persists.

Only real concern is that it makes some things hard to see, but I thought I should report it since it is annoying.

@Matt126

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file that exhibits this issue to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Does Ctrl b (Command b on Mac) return any warnings?

Others have been reporting similar behavior - this thread suggests that unfold/refold might be the root of the problem, but maybe other commands are causing similar behavior. If you can share the file, it would be very helpful for diagnosing.

If you don't want to share it publicly, feel free to message me directly.

Cheers,

Karina

Thanks for the reply @karina.harper and @TheCADWhisperer  That very likely could be the root cause as I had performed that action in the file--BUT I am happy to say that as of Monday this week the parts are no longer translucent so something has been fixed/fixed itself.

best,
Matt
