Bug report : duplicate mesh after Create form

Hello.

After creating a form all meshes that were imported into the project are duplicated from internal folders in the body.

Steps to reproduce:

1. import mesh
2. create a folder in the body and put the mesh there.
3. click on create form and then finish.

Why would you create a from from such triangulated meshes?

What is your intention with this imported mesh model?

I exported the first model which i find on pc. You can export a simple cube.

please reread the post and don't make off-topic , if you are actually helping with problems.

My post was not off topic. You simply did not understand my question 😕

The mesh shown in your first post is a triangulated mesh. The convert function that can be found in the Form/T-Spline environment  only converts mostly quad-meshes into T-Spline geometry. It is not suitable for triangulated meshes.

Please share your model so we can investigate and provide better help.

Oh, then sorry, I misunderstood.

I don't convert anything. I import a model, put it in a folder, then open form creation and close it. As a result I get a visual duplication of the imported mesh in the root of the body folder.

I attach the model. You can try self what I describe or show in the video.

I see the same behavior and agree that this probably should not be happening. Tagging @Phil.E

I wonder, however, why this presents a problem?

Got it. Looks like a bug. (ref: FUS-146515)

Fortunately there is a workaround:

Do not place mesh bodies into group folders - the duplication only happens when mesh bodies are in group folders

I also notice that the body is not duplicated, only the browser node for it. The same body is shown both inside the group folder and outside it. Avoiding group folders for bodies will help. Thanks for your patience while this is in the code.
