[Bug] Drawings - Keyboard Shortcut Conflict Warning

Why am I getting this warning in the Drawings environment now, whenever I copy-paste? The warnings stack, requiring me to close multiple instances. I haven't changed any settings, and it has never occurred before.

Hi @bwalker145 ,

Thanks for reporting this, and for the screenshot.

This does not look like expected behavior, especially since:

  • It appears every time you use Ctrl+V
  • The warnings are stacking repeatedly

Normally, a shortcut conflict warning should not repeatedly trigger during normal usage, especially for standard actions like copy-paste.

A couple of quick things to check:

  • Go to Preferences → General → Keyboard Shortcuts
    • Search for Ctrl+V
    • Check if multiple commands are assigned

To help investigate further

Could you please share:

  • Your Fusion version (Help → About)
  • Your OS version
  • Does this happen only in Drawings workspace, or other workspaces too?

Important (if possible)

Please share:

  • A short screen recording showing the repeated popup
  • Diagnostic log files:
    • Help → Support and Diagnostics → Diagnostic Log Files
    • Zip and attach

This looks like a potential UI/shortcut handling issue, especially since the warnings are stacking. Once we have more details, we can try to reproduce and log it internally if needed.

Appreciate you flagging this

This has apparently already been captured on FUS-245081, see below thread:

Hey Sujay,

I'm experiencing the same issue as the original poster. Trying to follow your first 'quick thing to check', when I navigate to Preferences → General, I do not see any settings called "Keyboard Shortcuts"... Am I simply missing where this is or do I need to look somewhere in particular?

Thanks,

Andrew Lund

Hi @alundRQ4XG @bwalker145 ,

Thank you for checking and for sharing the thread.

You are correct, this issue has already been captured internally and is being tracked under FUS-245081. The development team is actively working on a fix.

Apologies for the confusion in my earlier message regarding the Keyboard Shortcuts setting. You are not missing anything, that option is not available in the way I described, and I appreciate you pointing that out.

For now, there isn’t a direct workaround to stop the warnings from stacking, other than continuing with your workflow or restarting Fusion if it becomes disruptive.

Thanks again for your patience while we work on resolving this.

"Apologies for the confusion in my earlier message regarding the Keyboard Shortcuts setting. You are not missing anything, that option is not available in the way I described, and I appreciate you pointing that out." Was this ever even an option to begin with? If not, what made you confidently think it was? If so, why was it removed?

Also, there is a mirrored thread here that has been getting ignored, so here is the cross linking for anyone who discovers one but not the other. Good to know this issue is recognized, but curious how these things so often make it out of testing and into a full release in the first place.

They're AI responses, that's why they're so confidently incorrect. The wording and structure is a dead giveaway. Plus, if you watch the forum, you'll see a string of similarly detailed responses like these pop-up all within minutes/seconds of each other across different threads.

This issue is not limited to Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. ALL of my custom shortcuts are resulting in a "Keyboard Shortcut Conflict" error. I just spent 20 minutes re-applying all of my old shorcuts to wipe out the forcefully instanted default shortcuts, only to find that my fix was not persistent across software restarts. WTF.

This bug was introduced with the mid-April update and was NOT fixed with the late-April update. Meaning that Autodesk leadership is NOT prioritizing this issue.

So I want to take this opportunity to make my frustration perfectly clear in terms they understand. This bug breaks my entire workflow and therefore makes Fusion an unviable product for my use-case. If this isn't fixed immediately I will have no choice but to abandon this software suite entirely (and I suspect I'm not alone).

Quit replacing developers with sloppy AI vibe coders or it WILL hit you in the only place you care about: your wallet.

20/05/2026 and this bug is still active, trying to work through creating critical drawings for multiple projects and this conflict and stacking error messages constantly is a joke.

Can we get a fix ASAP!

I'm getting this error too. Please fix it!
Also, please add a list of all shortcuts in the settings that can be edited within the app.

@ccyokes Instead of a bug fix, we got Autodesk AI jammed into drawings as well. Definitely what was needed, right....?

At least sketches can finally be associated with drawing views and match scaling, that's one annoyance finally checked off.

So the AI can access drawings but still no API? What a joke.

The issue was reported as FUS-245081, and now is fixed in internal build, which is planned in the next Major update of July.

Thanks all for the feedback and patience.
