Is there a way to break link on patternd components? I am working on a hand rail with a lot of vertical bars every 10 cm, so i sketch’d the first verticale bar and did pattern along path. But if i modifi a 1 of the bars it copy’s to all the bars .Is there a way to fix tis ? Becouse the copy past new is very time consumeing .

Hello @Anonymous

Thank you for posting your issue. If I understood correctly you have created several patterned lines along a path and you want to apply break on a line.

To de-link patterns among the lines (bars I assume), you can delete the Pattern constraint by selecting the glyph, so that each line behaves individually.

Thank you,

All the vertical bars on the staircase are from a pattern along a path from the bottom vertical bar . Now the problem is that if I modify 1 of the bars alle the bars do the same modification

. I need to be able to do like a BREAK LINK command on the bars but i can't find out how to ,

I have found a solution . I copy'd the whole pattern dit a paste new and deleted the original pattern . I don't know if this is the best way to do this , but it was the only way i could make this work without doing a copy past new on every bar . Thank you for your input @rohit.bapat if you have a better way to do this i would definitely like to know ,

There is a problem with this solution. With changes in parameters, say the size of the table, the paste new components will not move with the new table dimension, even if a rigid joint is used to attached the "paste new" components.  Apparently Fusion loses the connection between the placement of the original components. The paste new components have no connection to the time line history.  Maybe there's a way to update the info.
