ALL MY PROJECTS ARE GONE...?!

I haven't done anything...

 

I went to use Fusion 360 and everything was gone.

 

The screen said my subscription had expired, so I got a new one.

 

I still can't see my projects and it seems it doesn't recognise that I had a previous account.

 

The support is really bad and is not only taking 12 hours to get a response, but they ignoring the reason I contacted them and saying it is just about installation.

 

This has happened without any prior warning and it's like I never had Fusion 360 for the past year and the support system seems to be now about frustrating the customer, not helping them.

 

If I've lost all my projects I might as well look at another package, especially if they do this kind of stuff to you periodically.

Can you view your designs if you go to the online dashboard? If not do you have more than one account and are you logged in on the one you used Fusion with before?

welcome to Fusion 360 Community Forum - thanks for posting! I am sorry to hear that your projects seem to be missing. Just to make sure - have you been using Fusion 360 in Online Mode?

 

Please go through the suggestions listed in the following knowledge article: Projects, folders, or files are missing from Fusion 360, one of which has been mentioned by @HughesTooling already.

 

If you are still struggling to find the projects after trying the suggestions out:

  1. On the machine that you used to log in to Fusion 360, go to the directory Macintosh HD>Users>***>Library>Application Support>Autodesk>Autodesk Fusion 360 (see the following article on How to Access Hidden User Library folder on Mac OS)
  2. Send me a screenshot of the contents of this folder. This will allow me to figure out which account the missing projects might be stored in.

Hi,

 

I don't know that I have more than one account, that is what I've been trying to find out as the first call I had with support they said, they needed to sync the accounts? So If I have I have no information about the old one now.

 

When I go to the dashboard it looks like a brand new install and there is none of my projects in it.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

thanks for the update and the screenshot, it is very helpful! There are two Autodesk Accounts on your name - you might have opened the other one by mistake and assigned a Fusion 360 subscription to it.

The solution is to basically log in with the other email address.

I will reach out to you in a private message to clear it up.

My projects are all gone too. I only have one account. When i look up my account on web. The projects are still there. However, for some reason. They are all gone when i check up in Fusion360 on my laptop. I did not notice this issue until i tried to save one of my design and it poped up like this. These all designs are mine. Please help as soon as possible
