After starting Fusion360 i get a white screen with no content.

I had already installed Fusion360 on my computer, but I had to reset it due to lack of space. After resetting, I downloaded Fusion360 again, and it was downloaded successfully. However, after the boot screen, the program only shows a white screen without any content (Picture 1). I also noticed that if I move the program quickly over my desktop (Picture 2 / 3), I can see the Fusion360 font, so it seems like there is a white rectangle covering it, but I'm not sure.

My computer specs are as follows:

  • External RTX graphics card
  • AMD Ryzen 6 cores
  • More than 4 TB of storage space
  • 48 GB of RAM
  • Windows 11 version 22H2

I have already tried uninstalling the program with and without a clean uninstall, and reinstalling it again.

Thank you in advance for your help!

@v_maxiOE please go to your registry and delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Fusion360\DP. See if this helps?

@v_maxiOE Here are a few things to try:

1. launch Fusion and as it is launching click on Ctrl+Shift

This will launch the Fusion service utility. Click on gather log files and attach the zip files that it generates.

2. Once you collect the logs, run the "reset Fusion 360" - Launch Fusion 360 and see if that helps.

3. If you still see the same behavior try to login to https://login.autodesk360.com/login - are you able to login?

@RajkumarIlanchelian

1. it appears that my Service Program wont gather the information.

It starts to load for about 4 minutes and then just closes

The Logs im uploading are the Logs in the  "...\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360" Folder

2. Reseting the Programm did not change anything

3. I am able to log in and see my Projects. Although if i try to open one of the Projects on my Desktop Fusion just starts with the same white screen

@v_maxiOE Thank you for the logs and checking the other things. I am consulting with your engineering team on this.

Just to get this out of the way, are there any pending Windows update and also graphics update?

@v_maxiOE and also close Fusion and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Fusion360\ delete the entire Fusion 360 folder. Just want to make sure there is nothing lingering around that could cause this.

@v_maxiOE Had one of our engineers take a look and a few other things to eliminate. The logs shows that it is failing at the authentication.

1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Fusion360\ delete the entire Fusion 360 folder

2. It is possible could be network related. If you restart your router and start again is that helping?

3. If the above does not help, would it be possible to connect into another network say like a hotspot in your mobile or something?

trying to change network to see if that helps

4. Are you on dual monitors by any change and if you are can you disconnect and see?

5. lastly run any windows update if available and graphics card update if available.

This will eliminate if this is hardware /network related.

Hello,

ive tried the following things:

- looked for updates -> didnt find any newer (both windows and for graphic)

- deleted the Folder Fusion 360 in registry

- restarted Router

- tried using only one of my two monitors

i was not able to switch between networks because my computer does not support Wifi (only via Cable, LAN)

The aspects listed did not solve the problem, unfortunately.

@v_maxiOE Hmmm. So this is not network or multi monitor or even account specific.

can you please try a couple more things?

1. Right click on Fusion 360 and you should be able to run as an administrator.

2. if you can quickly create a new user account and install fusion does that launch?

trying to see if there are any windows defender or anti-virus or firewall that is blocking.

Hello,

so i created a new user and installed the program on it. And it worked! The program runs as expected on the test user. However, on my user, the program still doesn't run.

Since I haven't installed much on my user anyway, I'll just switch users.

Thank you for your solution!

@v_maxiOE Glad to know that a new user works. This likely shows some user access that is different on the profile that does not let Fusion run. We could dig deeper into which access that might be but if you are up and running and good, then let us know if you have any other issues.

Thank you!

I had a similar problem when I tried to launch Autodesk Fusion360. After the loading screen showed up, a white window appeared without doing anything like freezing. Disconnecting my external monitor solved the problem.
