Ability to change drawing reference

I currently have a tool designed and spent a lengthy amount of time creating a drawing for it. Now I would like to make a slight design change to the tool and save it as a different file name. I saved both the tool and the drawing as a different file name, but the newly saved drawing is still referenced to the original tool. 

I tried downloading the file from the web and saving it with a new name in a different folder, but when I open it in Fusion, the drawing does not open with it.

It would save a lot of time to simply be able to change the reference file of the drawing.

What you need to do is download the 2d drawing. You will get a f3z file containing the 3d model and the 2d drawing, just upload the f3z file to a different folder and you'll have an independent version of the new files.

Hi John,

Yes, this worked. The video was most helpful. I did not upload it through the data panel. Instead I tried to open it from the folder location and I got an error.

The Blog Article I listed has been removed.  I quickly created a video that outlines the same thing the Blog Article showed.
