3D Sketch - Circular pattern

I wanted to pattern rotate a sketch item around the sketch planes X or Y axis, I am able to rotate it to each position one at a time, but not using a pattern.

My suggestion is to change the Centre Point selection to an Axis selection when 3D Sketching is enabled. I'd guess the function is already there using rotate, but it would need to iterate n times based on the angle and quantity.

Is this a question?

What are you needing to do with 22 sketched circles, that a Sphere or Revolve of that sketch can’t do?

Hi,

Which shape (picture?) do you want to create from the 22 circles?

Hi,

It's not really about creating a specific shape. it's about adding the ability to create a rotational sketch pattern in 3D space.

It is possible to do this with solid and surface objects as I guess they are considered 3D objects,

Sketch in 2D only needs to revolve around Z, but, imo sketching in 3D should allow the same translations, patterns, etc in 3D, as the solid objects

That is why I asked, correct tools for the correct job.
If you can’t do it efficiently with 3d sketch, there is likely an efficient way to get there as solid or surface construction.

Might help….

Sure I appreciate that, it just to me seemed like not converting the 2D sketching function to a 3D function when enabling 3D sketching, was an oversight, rather than intentionally to force users to work in a different way to achieve a solution.

There is the ability to copy-rotate  in 3D, just not copy-rotate-iterate.

There is the ability to copy-rotate  in 3D, (of course,) just not copy-rotate-iterate (2d sketches)

That would be due to 3d sketches in Fusion are severely limited, when compared to 2d sketches.
