After purchasing and installing a 3d Connexion Space Mouse wireless model to perform 3d navigation with Fusion 360 models, the mouse would only zoom in and out when the mouse knob was rotated. No other 3d navigation was possible.
After unplugging and replugging the mouses wireless USB dongle in my 2018 Mac Mini with OSX Mojave 10.14.6 os version, the mouse operated as expected and now provides complete Fusion 360 model pan, zoom and orbiting as expected.
I hope this solution helps any other 3d Connexion users.
