Quantity declared on first operation greater than quantity of the production order

An operator may declare a quantity greater than the production order quantity during the first operation of a production order. This declared quantity is then valid for all subsequent operations of the production order. Beyond the fact that this poses an easy risk of error for operators (poka-yoke), it also completely distorts the data analysis.

Thank you for sharing this, @jeremy_febvey.

In some cases the quantities may exceed the quantity ordered, but I understand that having the possibility to prevent it may be very handy in other cases.

It would be better if there is a system that automatically limits the amount of production, so as not to exceed the amount ordered, because it makes it easier for us as users to track the shortage of components that have been produced.

Because in reality in the field, we can complete a component in a few days / several shifts, even done by several groups. If only relying on manual records from our workers, I think it is still lacking. So it would be better if the system would automatically limit, if the production quantity exceeds the ordered quantity.
