Purchase Order

Purchase Order

it would be great if, when we received a PO, the materials could automatically be allocated to the BOM for a specific job? It would save us so much time, especially since we’re juggling multiple jobs at once. If we had a system that could match the materials from the PO directly to the relevant job's BOM, we could make sure everything lines up seamlessly.

Plus, being able to filter POs by job number would make it so much easier to check if everything for a particular job has been ordered and received. It would really take the headache out of tracking and make things so much smoother for everyone."

Hi @landradeG37XQ
Thank you for your posting this idea.
Would you be creating purchase orders specific for each production order, or could the same purchase order be allocated to multiple production orders?
I would like to know too if you'd allocate quantities already in inventory (for example, sub products), and thus without a specific purchase order associated to them.

Hi David,

it could be both, one specific purchase order for a project or sometimes the same purchase order could be allocated to multiple jobs, lets say I order 20 units of item A from supplier ABC, those 20 units could be distributed for example 10 for job 123, 5 for job 456, and 5 for stock. If I Have the quantities in inventory yeah I usually allocated from there without the necessity of a PO
