One option that would be of benefit (for Tron and most likely other machine shops) is if under the Quality drop down there was a category that allowed you to create inspection tools (almost like a product). Within this tool you can upload latest calibration certificates (and archive old ones) and give shop floor licensee the ability to sign it out for use. It should also allow the shop floor license holders to see who has it signed out so it can be located if needed. The signing in and out of the tool would be beneficial for larger shops and it should also allow inspectors to get notified when a tool becomes in need of a re-certification for calibration.
Another nice feature of this would be for someone to see if they even have a certain tool (thread gauge etc) for the feature they are trying to check.
I have a separate excel sheet for listing which inspection tools we current have. But if I could have everything in a centralized location that would be most beneficial.
