Feature Suggestion – Notification When Operation Is Completed

Hey Fusion team,

I’ve got an idea that could help with communication between the shop and the back office. Right now, after an operation is marked complete in Fusion, there’s no automatic notification to the back office. We can use variables or notes to flag things, but that’s not always clean or consistent.

For example, we have an operation called “Final Welding.” Once that’s done, it would be great if a notification or alert could go to the back office team automatically. Even something like a simple status trigger that sends a message or email would help a lot.

I know it’s kind of a niche request, but I can see this being useful for others too—especially for teams that rely on that handoff between production and admin.

Hello @jimmya333 , thank you for posting this.

There's an alert "Total operation done", that triggers an email when an operation is completed. Would the option to receive the alert only when a specific operation is completed work, instead of all operations?

I'm highlighting the alert because that's a feature we already have that you may be already using, whereas the notifications would be a new module and therefore more time consuming to build.
