Excel export/import files

In order to facilitate the import of new products and operations in bulk - through Excel file - that are relatively identical to existing products and operations - it would be beneficial to have the exported Excel file in the same format. This would avoid having to copy and paste between the 2 files or having to transform certain information from one to the other (such as operation options that are divided into several columns in the export file while there is only one column to fill in in the import file).

I agree on this, just want to give you a heads up that you can save some time on this mapping by creating a custom importer for some of the entities such as products/operations. It won't entirely prevent the mapping, but will help you. You can find more information here: https://help.fusionoperations.autodesk.com/en/articles/6897160-configurable-products-import
