What's the point of the Manufacturing model has changed dialog?

What's the point of the Manufacturing model has changed dialog and if I select No why does it keep coming up after clicking OK on the setup dialog?

When the setup dialog opens everything's selected so what's the problem? And when I click OK surely that should clear any errors\warnings. If I click yes all components and bodies are made visible so then I have to waste time going through hiding everything to get back to the body that was already selected in the setup! Oh and I have not actually created any manufacturing models in this design either so the message seems a bit misleading. Sorry can't share the design.

Thanks for informing us - this does seem like unexpected behavior.

I'm aware you mentioned you can't share this file. Is this happening specifically to this design only? or other designs too?

If its happening to other designs too, would be good to know the steps to replicate it, so we can identify the issue.

@shabbir.abdulhussein  I think a while back I tried to create manufacture models in this design but they were not created for some reason. Yesterday I tried again and it worked so then I selected the option to Delete All Manufacturing Models and the warning dialog stopped popping up in this design when I edit a Setup. So seems like something went wrong trying to create manufacturing models that caused the problem.

On another point, are there any plans to allow creating the manufacturing models using a subset of components in a design? I make injection mould tools and even though I derive out only the parts that need to machine I found performance a problem after creating the manufacturing models. I guess the design ends up containing twice as much design data after you have the manufacturing models? I ended up using the derive work flow because I ran into performance problems if I tried to use a design with a complete tool design, at a certain point where you have a lot of design data and a lot of CAM data it slows the design and cam workspaces down.

Thanks Mark
