TRouble with adaptive facing

I am trying to run an op2 on a part to remove the cap left from op1. I want an adaptive facing operation so that the stock is removed from the outside to center at the entire depth of the cap.  I can not seem to come up with an operation to allow this. I tried searching forums and youtube and not came up with enough details to figure it out.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ed

I figured out my mistake, it was my design. I had nested several pats together and I had modeled a base to make sure everything was sitting on the same plane. Forgot to remove that base before flipping part for Op2 facing. 3d adaptive gave me the tool path I needed.
