Hello,
I'm working on PP where I want to use the tool.overallLength. In a test nc-program I defined a tool with a tool.bodyLength=33.522 and a tool.overalllength=133.522.
When I post my program with dump.cps I find in the following:
...
99: onParameter('operation:tool_bodyLength', 33.522000000000006)
101: onParameter('operation:tool_overallLength', 133.52200000000002)
...
299: onSection()
...
tool.bodyLength=33.522000000000006
tool.overallLength=33.522000000000006
...
Within onSection() tool.overallLength seems always to be identical to tool.bodyLength. This looks like a bug to me...
Further it is unclear to me why the tool parameteres are twice available in the *.dmp file (once within onParameter() and once within onSection()). Which ones should be used?

Marc

Thanks for posting to the forums! I am unsure of the answer on this, so I will forward this on to the post team. I don't expect to hear back until early next week, so bear with us. Poke me if you don't hear anything 🙂
Hello Seth,
so far I didn't get any feedback... Is there something new from your side?
Regards,
Marc
Sorry for not responding back. Yes, it's a bug, one more added to the list. The post team will look into it as soon as an opportunity presents itself.
