Templates/Macros for machining?

Hi there,

Me again asking silly questions. I am going through the motions of saying goodbye to Featurecam and switching over to Fusion. Just wondering if there is a way to set machining attributes or defaults for certain cycles so I'm not having to repopulate the entire cycle page with the same data over and over again.

Is there a way to save settings on an operation in either a template or default setup page? I know from my Powermill days you would record macros as you were programming and reuse them to reprogram a similar part.

Any help would be great.

On top of creating templates, you can set defaults as well.

I've just detailed how to do that here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-manufacture/couple-small-bugs/td-p/9533993

Just look for my post in that thread.

Awesome, I think this plus the template toolpath function should get me by for the minute. Thanks for the tip!
