Surface Inspection Posting error

Hello,

Posting to Haas NGC with unedited Haas NGC Inspect Surface post downloaded today.

Ive created 2 operations with different tolerances assigned.   When I try and post both at the same time, it gives me a spindle speed error, which I don't understand because the spindle is off.

I can post either operation by itself, but I cannot post both to the same program file.

Log attached.

Hi @tomGKJVK,

Can you take a screenshot of your post dialog when you are trying to post both files at the same time.

Also can you attach the post you are using, It works fine for me using the online download.

Sorry, went on vacation for a few days.   Here are screenshots of the dialogue box and the post I'm using.  Downloaded from the library last week, not modified.

Will do multiple posts because only 3 attachments are allowed and it took 6 screen shots to show the entire dialogue box options.

Hi @tomGKJVK,

What 2 toolpaths are you trying to post out?

I un suppressed your toolpath sleeve (2) and this worked when I posted with sleeve.

Hi @tomGKJVK,

safeStartAllOperations option causes this error.
Please don't use it or change the line 1684 in your post like below:

if (spindleChanged || (operationNeedsSafeStart  && !isInspectionOperation(currentSection) && !isProbeOperation())) {

There’s only 2 toolpaths in the file I sent for the inspection setup.   I can post either one individually, but cannot post them both at the same time.

I made a mistake when posting something else the other day where I was using a couple probe geometry toolpaths – I mistakenly used the Haas Surface Inspection post (that I’m trying to use with this file we’re working on) and I got the same error.  When I went back to the Haas NGC post, the error went away.

That leads me to believe there is an error with the post that I am using.  Did you try posting with the post that I attached?

No Problem, glad it worked.

Let us know if you need anymore help with inspection.

There is also a preview feature that allows parts to be aligned perfectly on a machine tool using the probe.
