Stop the Auto-Rotate after every "OK" click in an operation?

Is there a way to stop the part from orientating itself after every single time I click okay in an operation? It is very much not needed, and makes me constantly have to adjust my view. When did this "feature" get added to Fusion? I know this wasn't always the case. I tried to find something in the settings but no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions?

PS: This has been going on for quite a while, I just assumed it was a bug and would get fixed but apparently not.

If you Disable the sync View with active setup it turns this unwanted rotation off. But i like the setting, i dont like the toolpath "ok" Rotation.

Ahh, I see. Yes I really like that setting. There needs to be a way to turn off that auto-rotate. Working on a part right now with 50+ operations and every single time I pop in and out of them having the view do it's own thing gets super old very quickly.

Sorry about this issue @ARTHUR-HM

This is a bug tracked under CAM-24450 and a fix should be in the pipeline. I cant say when but it is being worked on.

Update: this should be fixed in the release that just went out.

Why are Autodesk so secretive about updates?

"I cant say when but it is being worked on."

12 hours later "it's out"

It would be nice if Autodesk/Fusion was a little more transparent with bug fixes and release dates. I recently had a bug that I went through with support and I get told - "it's been fixed and will be in the next update" - great! but Autodesk are unable to give me any idea when this will be. Is it tomorrow or 4 weeks? Please Autodesk give us a little bit more information it can make a difference to how we plan and execute orders/projects at work if bugs are slowing down projects I may need to move onto something else or find a workaround depending on urgency of project and likely fix for a bug.

I want to decide if I need to pause work on a project and wait for the update that could be going live in a few days, or am I going to be waiting weeks and need to find a workaround to get it completed in time?

Obviously this wouldn't be a problem if there weren't any bugs 😉

I cant provide details on releases. Thats not something I am liberty to disclose. The best I can offer is to notify when a fix has been shipped.

I understand this can be frustrating but it’s the best I can offer. We do generally keep an eye on the forum so it’s usually a good place to raise and re-raise issues/bugs that might have slipped through. We do listen.

Thank you so much for the update on this. I see it is working. Massive QOL improvement. That was seriously driving me nuts.

And also, I understand not being able to give specifics. As long as I know the issue is logged and will be dealt with eventually that's good enough info for me.
