Stepover

Hi all

I have a undercut in a wall 6mm deep.  I want to machine 2 x 2.9mm cuts and 1 finish of 0.2mm .  I have set Roughing passes - Max Stepover at 2.9mm and Number of stepovers at 2 and 3 but it just wont play ball.  It does a 1mm step then a bigger one then finish.  Seems whatever values I put in it wont stick to 2.9mm and 0.2mm.  I have the same problem with stepping down.  If I just want 2 steps or even 1 full depth it wants to do 2.  Its like it there is no way to just do a controlled amount.

Thanks for posting your question to the Fusion 360 forum. I've attached an example file of what I think you're trying to accomplish from reading your description. This seems to work for me, having the rouging set to what you want, 2.9mm and having two passes, then having one finish pass to remove the remaining material.
