Feed Settings

Hi

I always use the same feed for Cutting, Lead In /Out Ramp and Half in Plunge.  How do I set Fusion to use the same figure as Cutting Feedrate in all the boxes?  At the moment I just change them all which is a pain.  I would like this for all operations except drilling.

@stuart Thanks for posting your question to the Fusion 360 forum. To maintain a default of a parameter in the CAM environment, right click the highlighted field and select Make Default.

This should maintain that parameter across operations. Give this a try and let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

What expression do I copy into the fields?

@stuart You should be able to just enter the feed rate that you want and then right click and select Make Default. You shouldn't need to enter an expression.

The expression is tool_feedCutting

Pretty sure what he means is that his lead feeds always match his cutting feed, not that he uses the same feedrate at all times.

Hi to be clear I use different feeds and speed for each tool but the other fields would be the same ast the cutting feed.  Ie I only want to fill in cutting feed and not adjust the rest.  They should all be the same.  I have changed them to default as tool_feedCutting but when I do another adaptive its resorted back.  Its sort of working.  Not for the next part tho.

What values do you have in the tool definition itself? Perhaps this is conflicting with the toolpath settings:

I think this could be the problem. I have values in all tools.
