hello
i am going to machine this part out of oak.
and i wounder how is the best way to set this up for 2 sided machining. i need to use some tabs to hold the part in place when i flipp the part to machine the last side of it.
i wil use some alignement holes in the spoilbord when i flip the part, i am new to cam in fusion ,so if anybody can help me out here i woud be glad.
Thanks
Depends on how much effort you want to put into the setup! If it's one part you can machine 3 sides (when the part is flipped), then switch clamps to the other side to machine the fourth side.
If it is a repeat job you can think about using a fixture in the holes
Something like this:
i think you should be able to just onion skin this without issue.
