Simulation question

Hi Folks,

I'm puzzled about something.

Sometimes when I run a "Simulation" with "Stock" turned on (with one or more tool paths), I have an option to turn on "Collision", other times Collision isn't available.

Why is that (or what am I doing wrong)?

And, how do I control this?

Thanks in advance

I don't think I've ever seen this happen. Could you share a screenshot showing a case of this?

One thing is that you may have enabled 3-axis fast simulation (which disables collision but adds visual quality controls) under the "mode" in stock.

The "Mode" tab and "Fast (3 axis only)" was what caused this.

Strange thing is I have never got around to changing those settings myself, it did this all by it's self, it's good to know how to address it.

Thank you
