Shopbot

I am going through the lessons and I don't know if there is a different toolpath setting for shopbot. If there is, can someone send me the link for it? otherwise, I have no idea what I'm getting myself into with the current instructions.

Hmm. Why would there be different instruction for a Shopbot? For the most part, CNC is CNC..

Well, thanks for marking the above reply as a solution, but did I actually answer your question? The way you phrased it leads me to believe there may be more to the question than what appears at first glance.

There are some things to consider as you proceed through the lessons:

1) There are likely commands that are not applicable such as coolant or spindle speed control. Those would need to be handled manually.

2) Use the Shopbot post process file.

3) Make sure you setup your piece correctly, using "Set z and X axis". Any use of tool orientation will likely result in a failed post attempt.
