Post Processor and Machine Simulation What’s New
Looking for the latest post processors and machines updates? Look no further!
We are continually working hard to bring you updates and improvements to the many open-source Post Processors and Machines we offer for free, but those updates often get lost in the shuffle of other enhancements or big feature releases. This post aims to update you on newly added or improved post processors and machines, so you can stay up to date on what you use today or look for news so you can get the most out of Fusion.
This post will get refreshed with notable updates as they’re released, and you can click each hyperlink to go to the mentioned post. As always, you can find the latest in our post processor offering on the Online Post Library where you can search by vendor, type, or name, and see any recent changes to each post processor.

Additive Post Processors
Removed G28 at program end in the Qidi post processor.
3. New Machines
The Machine Library lets you manage your machine tools by using Machine Configurations to define your available machines and resources. These configurations can automate the settings in your Job Setup.
There are many Machine Configurations available in the standard library.
Milling Machines
You will have available configuration files for some of the leading machine manufacturers:
The following configuration files do not contain any 3D model, but have all the settings required to optimize your postprocessor for these specific machines:
- DMG MORI
CMX 600 V, DMC 160U FD, DMC 210U FD, DMC 850 V, DMP 35, DMP 70,
DMU 200 Gantry, DMU 210P FD, DMU 50 3rd gen, DMU 65H FD monoblock,
DMU 85H FD monoblock, HSC/Ultrasonic 20 Linear, NHX 4000 3rd gen,
NHX 5000 3rd gen, NVX 5060 2nd gen, NVX 5080 2nd gen
Additive Machines
Fabrica Tera 25vx, Fabrica Tera 250vx
Fabrica Giga 25vx, Fabrica Giga 250vx
The easiest way to get started, is to copy an existing configuration that matches some of the characteristics of your machine.

6. Tool Library Add-ins
The Helical Solutions Resources add-in provides a user-friendly interface that allows you to download Helical Solutions tools into your Autodesk® Fusion® tool library.
The add-in allows you to download a Valor Holemaking tool to your Fusion tool library by simply entering the Valor Holemaking tool number and clicking add tool.
It also allows you to search the Helical Solutions online catalogue and add tools from the catalog to your tool library.
7. Post Processor Ideas
To make our library more varied and complete, we are always working on new post processors. Some of them still need more testing before being released in the public library. Every new Beta post processor is announced in the Idea Station, you can find all of them in the Post Processor Idea Station.
Please note that if you choose to use one of these post processors, you assume all inherent risk in using it and we ask that you proceed with caution.
That being said, we are looking forward to get your feedback!
