Retract height between paths

I've got 2 paths being cut out using a 2D Countour. After the first closed loop has been cut out, the path it takes to the second one goes straight through the stop instead of lifting up and over it. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Shorten your Stay Down distance or uncheck the Stay Down box entirely.

That did it! Thanks. I was increasing the stay down distance thinking it would make it go up higher. Turning it off worked for me.
