Probing for bolt hole alignment

Hi,

I have some castings with existing bolt hole patterns and would like to use probing and G68 to align them.  The machine is a Haas vf 3 with classic control.  How would I go about stetting this up in Fusion?  The center of the part is used for the wcs and I would like to pick up 1 bore on the bhp and adjust the angle from there.  Any help is appreciated.

To do this automatically in Fusion, I'd suggest doing some reading on what's called "Part Alignment"

The other option is to do a quick hand-code of the Renishaw P9834 probing cycle

Seth,

Thanks for the quick response.  This is is for a customer and they currently do this manually at the machine on a significant amount of parts and would like to start transferring some of the programming to fusion.  Is there a way to use the 9834 cycle through fusion?

Directly? No.

But, you could make a Manual NC "Pass Through" program. Downside, if you have a family of parts to make, you're stuck "finger-cam-ing" it each time

The manual NC worked as an acceptable solution.  Much thanks!
