posting multiple setups

Hello
I'm using the generic has mill post. Can I post multiple setups using different G offsets? Not wanting to duplicate the tool paths, I would like to setup multiple operations and use common tools in each in an optimized order.

Operation 1 uses a spot drill. Post out using G54

Operation 2 uses same spot drill. Post out using G55

Can I post both operations in the same program and have the common tools do op 1 & 2 before next tool change?

The part is 1" sq tubing. I have different holes on each side using dual jaw vise. I will move 1st op to second position, after second cycle I will have a finished part with both ops.

Thanks
Neil R.

Yes.

When you post out, you are going to want to use the CTRL button and select both operations. You will then click this box (after you press the "Post Process" button):

Couple of notes:

Each Setup must have it's own work offset value. For instance, Setup 1 could have a "1" which would give you G54. Setup 2 could have "2" which would give you G55

You will need to select all the Setups you want to post out. It will give you a notice, informing you have selected multiple operations. Click "OK" and continue

I have to select the first set up and then hold shift and select the next set up for this to work for me, then everything else Seth said....
