Recently fusion 360 has been crashing when trying to post process a toolpath. I am able to select the toolpath, right click and select post processing. Once I hit post, it opens a search window where I usually save my nc file, but now, it immediately closes fusion altogether. It does not allow me to submit a crash report either. I tried using the NC program feature and that seems to be posting correctly. Just wanted some feedback on why the option for post processing under each toolpath is not working anymore.
That is a strange one. We've seen some problems in the past related to the use of roaming profiles -- i.e., when %appdata% is stored on a network. Are you by chance in that situation?
Does this happen for all models? Have you tried to use a different post processor?
I switched computers and the same post processor(Stepcraft UCCNC) works on my mac and posts everything correctly with no crashes, but on my windows it does not post, and eventually crashes. I don't know if this insight helps.
