Engrave ignores part of the contour

Hi everyone

Ran into a weird behaviour today which I can't figure out. Im trying to do the engrave of the SVG file but for some odd reason it ignores three leaves on the left hand side and generates an empty toolpath. The vector itself seems to be totally fine, because if I use the exact same vector contour to do a 2D pocket, that works OK...

Any ideas or advices will be much appreciated

Regards,

IEvgen

@bevsev

The only thing that I could find was an overlap that when changed as in the image below makes it work, I made the gap larger than needed just to make it easier to see.

The Pocket works because it doesn`t go into that area.

Why on earth it would do what it is doing I have no idea, the Right side looks the same but works fine, I tried different tolerances but nothing changed, this may do as a "workaround" for you till you can get a better answer from Autodesk.

I just stuck a couple of straight lines in as a temporary fix, you can play around with the gap and splines til you have what you need !! Example file attached !!

Thanks a lot for the advised solution. This will kepp me going with this project

But I'm still hoping to hear from Autodesk with a good explanation on why this happened... Hate it, when software has unpredictable behaviour

LOL, the "fun" continues.

When I create a second setup to mill out a male plug for the inlay fusion AGAIN ignores the same vector contour. Which is working fine for the first setup (female portion)

Autodesk, we need you. Can you cast a light upon this issue? Doesn't make much sense at this point...
