Pocket around text

Hi everyone,

I am new to fusion and still trying to learn how it works. I am trying to create a pocket around text but I am not able. I tried different size of bits with no succes. Attached is an image showing the issue.

First, You would have a radius at any inside corner instead of the sharp ones you have modeled.

Can you File>Export>*.f3d and attach your model here so we can see what the actual settings are in your file?

yes I am aware I won't be able to get sharp corners, but it should be negligible.

All you have in your files are contour operations, no pocket operations.

Your features are way to small to use something like a 1 MM tool. You would need a .5MM .See attached example for how you would go about feature

Hi @Anonymous , I used 2-D pocket with a .5 mm endmill, see file attached.
