Ordering tool paths

Ordering tool paths

I created a body out of joined text extrusions. The tool paths were created but when cutting with my Shapeoko 3 cnc, I found I would like to cut one tool path before another. Is it possible to order the tool paths for cutting or do I have to save individual tool paths separately and just process them one by one?

Many thanks!

you can copy tool paths from one drawing to another (if it is within the same instance of fusion) and/or you can drag the tool paths in the manufacture environment under setup tree to be before or after one another.

If the toolpaths are all contained inside of one operation, such as 2D Contour, you may be able to select "Preserve Order" on the Passes tab. This (in most cases) will cut the features in the order they are selected.

If, however, each letter you are cutting is it's own toolpath, you can just drag and drop them in your browser tree to give you the order you are looking for.
